Abstract: A 43-year-old woman was found to have multiple swollen lymph nodes in the neck with a 11-month history. After taking a lymph node biopsy, she was diagnosed as "lymphatic tuberculosis." During anti-tuberculosis treatment, the patient experienced swelling of the upper left eyelid. She received "mass removal (anterior opening of the orbit) + pedicle flap transplantation", postoperative pus culture showed: Talaromyces marneffei. Treatment with intravenous amphotericin B was initiated, and later changed to itraconazole 200 mg twice-daily orally due to increased creatinine. The patient was discharged after totally 7 weeks treatment. Oral itraconazole 200 mg twice-daily was continued for 6 months followed by 200mg qd for 8 months, and there was no recurrence during a two-year follow-up.
