Combination of fractional ablative carbon dioxide laser and photodynamic therapy in Sporotrichosis treatment: A case report

Abstract

Abstract: A 62-year-old women came to our hospital because of nodules on the right hands for six months, nodules on the right arms for three months. A diagnosis of sporotrichosis was made based on typical manifestations, including positive fungal culture, histopathological and genetic examinations. Daily oral itraconazole combined with fractional laser and photodynamic therapy three times, that case was cured after one month.
