A case report of local infection by Trichosporon asahii

Abstract:

A 44-years-old male patient is in hospital based on chief complaint of ulcerative wounds between bilateral feet third and fourth toe,with blisters and formation.Direct microscopic examination of pus showed infection of spores as round or oval.The diagnosis of infection caused by Trichosporon asahii was made based on the above findings.He accepted auto-skin grafting,the wound is quickly repaired in another 10 days.
