The research progress of fungal granuloma

Abstract: Fungal granuloma takes second place in infectious granulomas.Granuloma is caused by a wide variety of fungi, including coccidioidomycosis, histoplasmosis, blastomycosis, cryptococcosis, paracoccidioidomycosis sporotrichosis, chromoblastomycosis, phaeohyphomycosis, alternariosis, eumycetoma, lobomycosis, rhinosporidiosis, zygomycosis, Cladophialophora bantiana, in addition to Dermatophytes such as Trichophyton rubrum, Trichophyton mentagrophytes and so on, Candida albicans can also cause granulomas.This paper reviews the research progress of fungal granuloma etiology and pathogenesis, clinical manifestations, diagnosis and differential diagnosis, treatment and so on.
