Mycoses of implantation

Abstract: Implantation or subcutaneous mycoses are common in tropical and subtropical regions of the world. These infections have multiple features in common, including similar epidemiology, mode of transmission and so on.Some occur in specific endemic areas.And the clinical manifestations of these infections are diverse,the cure is very difficult and often causes deformity and dysfunction if the cure is not timely.So that it affects the patients' life quality.This review aims to the epidemiology of the most clinically significant implantation mycoses,such as sporotrichosis,eumycetoma,chromoblastomycosis,phaeohyphomycosis and zygomycosis.Clinical manifestations, diagnosis, and treatment options are also reviewed.
