A case of corneal ulcer caused by Fusarium solani infection

Abstract: A case of corneal ulcer caused by Fusarium solani was reported.A 40-year-old male carpenter complained of redness,aching,weeping and vision impairment in the left eye for 10 days.After debridment of the cornea and systematic and topical antifungal therapy,the patient’s condition was significantly improved.The pathogen was identified as Fusarium solani.Early diagnosis based on mycology and opportune treatment are crucial for prognosis of fungal keratitis.
